Is it really free?

Yes. The training is worth £18,000 per place and is 95 to 100% government funded depending on the employer's payroll size. Individuals never pay. Employers pay either nothing or a small 5% co-investment.

Who can apply?

Anyone employed on PAYE in England, working enough weekly hours, with an employer happy to support around 6 hours a week of paid, on-the-clock training. Employers can put through one person or a whole team.

How long does it take?

The standard course runs around 14 months. If that feels too long, bespoke programmes can bring the months down to what works for you or your business.

What is a Level 4 qualification?

Level 4 is equivalent to the first year of a university degree, a recognised, government-backed qualification that stays on your CV for life.

Who delivers the training?

We put you in touch with a fully government approved apprenticeship partner, Ofsted regulated and experts in delivering these courses. You take the meeting and see if it's a fit. No pressure, no obligation.

Will it interfere with the day job?
